Shenae Grimes Is Friends With Homeless People

Shenae Grimes formed unlikely friendships while shooting Sugar in the streets of L.A. earlier this year.

"I played a homeless kid and we had all real homeless kids as our background," Grimes, 21, said on Chelsea Lately Thursday. "I ended up just meeting the coolest people that I've met in L.A. on Venice Boardwalk."

The Scream 4 star added that she even helps her poverty-stricken pals beg for money on the streets.

"I feel bad, but I'm a cute girl, so I'm a really good sidekick for 'spanging' -- that's what asking for spare change -- and I don't need it myself, so I feel like I'm pulling one over on society," Grimes giggled. "It all goes to them, but I help out where I can."

Still, the Canadian actress admits she's had to set a few ground rules with her homeless friends.

"It's hard. You have to have boundaries. I've definitely been asked if they can sleep on my floor and stuff like that. You walk a fine line," she told host Chelsea Handler, 36. "My mom would not be pleased if I started taking homeless people to my apartment."

Still, Grimes doesn't regret befriending the film's extras. "It's just about reaching out," the 90210 actress explained. "As humankind, it's our responsibility to help take care of each other.

Lo Bosworth: Jonathan Taylor Thomas Is Gay?

Lauren “Lo” Bosworth of the MTV reality series The Hills has suggested that Jonathan Taylor Thomas is gay.

Bosworth, 24, gossiped on the speculation to Chelsea Lately chat show host and comedian Chelsea Handler.

Twenty-nine-year-old Thomas became a teen idol playing middle son Randy on the long-running ABC sitcom Home Improvement. After the series ended its 8-season run in 1999, Thomas continued working in television and film.

When Handler asked whether Bosworth had a crush on Thomas, Bosworth answered that she does, then added in a whisper, “But I don't know if he's gay or not.”

“I heard that myth, and I don't know if that's true or not,” Bosworth said. “If it's not true, he should definitely come out of the wood works.”

“He seems like he'd be gay, but I don't know that he's gay,” Handler said.

The women agreed that Thomas had “such a beautiful face.”

“Jonathan, if you're watching, get down here, girl, we're in Santa Monica,” Handler ordered.

Showing off her fabulous bikini body, Whitney Port was spotted in Miami, FL on Monday (January 18).

Relaxing poolside, “The City” star looked to be enjoying the warmth of the Florida sun as she hung out with friends while reading a paperback book by Chelsea Handler and replying to Tweets on her cell phone.

Over the weekend, Ms Port was joined by her friend and co-star, Roxy Olin, as they both walked the boardwalk and sported some sexy bikinis.

In other news, the New York Daily News reported that Whitney and fellow MTV star Brody Jenner were spotted “cannoodling” at a party earlier this month. No confirmation on the relationship yet.

Lauren Conrad Has a Really Awesome Muse

Lauren Conrad may not have the best taste in boys or former besties, but she sure knows how to pick a muse.

Nope, it's not Hemingway or F. Scott Fitzgerald who moves her. The Hills hottie and L.A. Candy author gets her literary inspiration from none other than E!'s own Chelsea Handler.

"I love people who can bring their voice into the story," the starlet told OK! magazine this past weekend. "I just read both of Chelsea Handler's books and I love them because you can hear her voice in there. I think that's really great that you bring personality to story."

Ironically, one of L.C.'s frenemies, Kristin Cavallari appears on Chelsea Lately this week accusing Conrad of not having a personality.
